GAIN Capital Holdings Inc. Appoints Henry C. Lyons as Chief Financial Officer


Bedminster, NJ - April 1, 2008 - GAIN Capital Holdings Inc., a global provider of retail foreign exchange trading and services, today announced the appointment of Henry C. Lyons as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this newly-created role, Mr. Lyons will report to GAIN's CEO Glenn Stevens, and will become a standing member of GAIN's executive management team. As CFO, Mr. Lyons will be responsible for financial accounting and reporting, strategic business planning and forecasting, corporate development and investor relations activities for GAIN Capital Holdings and its subsidiaries.

"Henry's vast and diverse financial management experience, in both public and private settings, will strengthen the depth and resources of GAIN's senior leadership team," said Glenn Stevens, GAIN's chief executive officer. "As an integral part of GAIN's management, Henry's experience, counsel and leadership will be invaluable as we continue our focus on market leadership and growth," added Mr. Stevens.

Mr. Lyons brings over 20 years of financial experience to GAIN, including senior roles at multinational public and private companies. Mr. Lyons was most recently senior vice president and chief financial officer at ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a global provider of e-payment processing software and services to financial institutions, retailers and service providers in over 80 countries. At ACI, he was responsible for all controllership, accounting and taxation, regulatory reporting, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations activities.

Mr. Lyons previous experience includes positions as a division CFO at GE Healthcare, corporate controller at W.R. Grace & Company, and audit professional at Ernst & Young, where he was a licensed CPA. In these roles, Mr. Lyons responsibilities included involvement in audits of both private and public companies, internal and SEC reporting, growth and productivity initiatives, financial planning and analysis, acquisitions, divestments and restructuring activities. Mr. Lyons earned an MBA from New York Institute of Technology, and a BBA in Accounting from Millsaps College.
