Alex Bobinski, Chief Financial and Compliance Officer

Alex is responsible for the financial operations and compliance activities of GAIN Capital Group LLC, the US regulated subsidiary of GAIN Capital Holdings Inc. Alex's responsibilities include accounting, treasury and cash management, and reporting. He also serves as the Company's liaison with GAIN's regulatory agencies, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the National Futures Association (NFA).

Alex brings to GAIN 18 years of financial, accounting and capital markets experience in and around the futures industry. From 2002-2005, he was chief financial officer at Refco LLC, the regulated futures trading and clearing firm, managing the finance, treasury and accounting operations of the firm, as well as due diligence and integration efforts for acquisitions.

Alex spent 10 years at Nomura Securities International as vice president and controller for their futures and options business. Additionally, for twelve years he was sole proprietor of Futures Accounting and Consulting Services, providing accounting and compliance services to Commodity Pool Operators, Commodity Trading Advisors and Introducing Brokers. Alex also served as controller/compliance director at Bridgewater USA, Inc. Alex began his career at the National Futures Association as an in-charge auditor. A Certified Public Accountant, Alex also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
