The USD consolidated lower against most of the G10 currencies, but is stronger against the SEK and NOK. NY Session: SEK gains, GBP tumbles

The USD is largely flat in the G10 space except against the SEK and GBP. The SEK is outperforming after the Riksbank kept rates on hold and refrained from talking down the exchange rate. London Session: Sentiment improves as cliff talks progress

Market sentiment continued to improve as US budget talks progressed. President Obama made a counter offer suggesting tax rate increases on incomes over $400k.
