Sales Consultant - Multiple Positions Available

Production Support Analyst

We are looking for a talented, Production Support Analyst to join our team.

The position will be based in Bedminster, NJ

Responsibilities:
  • Daily support of Gain Capital's high-transaction, low-latency FX trading system(s)
  • Own and manage the incident response process. Must be able to escalate problems to appropriate engineering teams, while adhering to SLA's.
  • Must own all issues raised through to closure regardless of which team or vendor ultimately resolves the problem
  • Monitor, Measure, Analyze and report parameters constituting the technology of GAIN's production trading environment. Monitoring our trading system, along with applications as well as the underlying infrastructure (i.e. OS, Server and Network).

Required Qualifications:
  • In-depth trouble shooting knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, TCP/IP and Desktop configurations.
  • Capable of writing SQL and performing adhoc queries.
  • Previous experience working with proprietary trading systems and the FIX protocol.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Client Services
  • Sales (no cold calling)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree (Recent college grads & Dec-08 / Jan-09 grads are welcome to apply)
  • Interest in financial markets, international affairs, economics and politics
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook a must.
  • Excellent communication & relationship management skills a must.
  • Customer service and sales experience, especially within a brokerage or financial services environment a major plus.
  • Must be fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese a plus.
