Kathleen Brooks, Research Director
Kathleen Brooks is the UK and EMEA research director at FOREX.com based in London. She uses both fundamental and technical methods in her analysis. She provides daily research and market updates as well as a weekly webinar on market themes. She is a regular contributor to Yahoo Finance, Reuters Great Debate Blog as well as a host of other international publications. She is often quoted in the global financial press and is a regular contributor on business TV including CNBC and CNBC Arabia.
She started her career in finance at BP where she worked first as a business analyst in its trading division and then as a trading analyst in its foreign exchange dealing room. Prior to joining Forex.com she was a financial features writer for City A.M. Kathleen holds an undergraduate degree in English Language and Classical Civilization from Trinity College Dublin, and a Master’s of Science from The Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University.
Chris Tedder, Research Analyst
Chris Tedder is FOREX.com’s Research Analyst based in Sydney, Australia and is responsible for creating daily and weekly research notes for use by clients and the media with a focus on the economy in Asia, Australia and New Zealand, monetary policy and fx.
He joined FOREX.com in 2010 as a client relationship manager and moved to become a market strategist in March 2011. Prior to joining FOREX.com Mr. Tedder worked as an analyst at Fidelis Advisory Partners in South Africa.
Matt Weller, Senior Technical Analyst
Matt Weller is a Senior Technical Analyst on FOREX.com’s research team. Matt creates regular research reports focusing on technical analysis of the forex, equity and commodity markets. In his research, Matt utilizes candlestick patterns, common indicators, and Fibonacci analysis to anticipate potential market moves.
In addition to his regular research reports, he has discovered a passion for teaching others about trading and has conducted over 1200 educational webinars on different aspects of trading and trading psychology. His analysis has been quoted in the Financial Times, Reuters, MarketWatch, The Guardian, and the Daily Telegraph. Matt is a Level III Chartered Market Technician (CMT) candidate and a member of the Market Technicians Association.
Fawad Razaqzada, Technical Analyst
Fawad is FOREX.com’s technical analyst based in London. He entered the FX market in early 2010. Having graduated from Brunel University with a degree in economics, and mentored by some of the industry’s leading experts, he has an excellent understanding of the fundamental drivers of the markets. But it is his unique ability to predict price moves using technical analysis that has made him popular amongst his peers.
Fawad is regularly quoted in the leading financial publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Market Watch, FT and Associated Press. On a day to day basis, Fawad produces and delivers market commentary and research for FOREX.com, with an emphasis on technical analysis.
Neal Gilbert, Senior Market Analyst
Neal Gilbert, an avid follower of the markets, began working at GFT in 2006, educating new and experienced traders in an easy-to-understand manner. His focus has been teaching common technical indicators, fundamental factors for market moves, risk management, and sharing his favorite trading strategies.
Neal has also authored a variety of guides about currency trading, contributed to the e-book “The Harriman Book of Spread Betting Rules”; and authored the strategy related e-book, “Braving the Rapids.” Neal’s daily North American wrap-up articles have been quoted in various publications including: Reuters, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, and Sky News, among others; and he has appeared on Dukascopy TV.
