Singapore Index Singapore Index

The Singapore Index is FOREX.com’s market on the Strait Times Index (STI), the main benchmark for tracking the performance of the Singaporean stock market. The STI calculates the performance of the 30 top companies on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

Key constituents of the Strait Times Index include Capitaland, DBS Group, Wilmar International and United Overseas Bank. The market has been calculated since 1966 and is now managed by the FTSE Group and Singapore Press Holdings.

The Strait Times Index is capitalisation-weighted, which means stocks with a higher total market cap will have a greater impact on its price.
