What information do I need when opening an account?

We will need you to provide us with your name, address and tax ID number to establish your identity. Typically, we can verify your identity instantly. For more information, see our Account Documents FAQs.

How do I fund my account?

You can fund your trading account by logging into the MyAccount page and visiting the Funding > Deposit tab.

FOREX.com does not and cannot accept deposits from third parties.

Please note that you may experience longer processing times if the name on the originating account does not match your FOREX.com account.

The minimum initial deposit is €100 or currency equivalent.

We recommend that you maintain an adequate excess margin balance above your required margin. Maintaining low excess margin levels in your account may prohibit you from trading certain products or lead to undesired liquidations resulting from an adverse market move.

FOREX.com does not accept cheques as a funding method.

How do I withdraw my funds from my trading account?

You can withdraw from your trading account by logging into the MyAccount page and visiting the Funding > Withdraw tab.


FOREX.com does not and cannot withdraw funds to the account of a third party. Please note that you may experience longer processing times if the name on the destination account does not match your FOREX.com account.

How will my withdrawal be processed?

Withdrawal requests are processed in the order the requests were received.

FOREX.com does not charge for incoming Card deposits.
Wire Transfer FOREX.com does not charge wire withdrawal fees.
However a client's bank may charge additional fees for incoming transactions.

Withdrawal Procedure

Deposited Amount shall be returned via Card, profits above the deposited amount shall be returned via wire transfer.
Wire Transfer Funds that are over the net deposit can be returned via Wire Transfer once the bank account has been verified.
After submitting the withdrawal request, we will require a valid bank statement to verify the bank account.

If the balance is lower than €100 (or currency equivalent), the minimum amount for withdrawal is the full remaining balance.
