EUR/CZK market insights

Pivot points are a technical indicator that traders use to predict upcoming areas of technical significance, such as support and resistance. They're calculated by averaging the high, low and closing prices of a previous period. That could be a day, a week or a month.

If a market is trading above its previous pivot point (known as P), it is seen as a bullish signal. If it is below, it is bearish.

Support and resistance levels are a core part of technical analysis, providing crucial insight into possible future price reversals.

EUR/CZK details

EUR/CZK is a forex pair made up of the euro and the Czech koruna. The koruna is the quote currency in the pair, so the EUR/CZK price tells you how many CZK it takes to buy a single euro.

EUR/CZK is considered an exotic forex pair, as one of the currencies (CZK) is not one of the majors. However, the close economic relationship between the Eurozone and the Czech Republic makes it a popular market among FX traders.

The Czech Republic is legally obliged to adopt the euro at some point in the future as a requirement for joining the European Union.
