AMC Entertainment market insights
Pivot points are a technical indicator that traders use to predict upcoming areas of technical significance, such as support and resistance. They're calculated by averaging the high, low and closing prices of a previous period. That could be a day, a week or a month.
If a market is trading above its previous pivot point (known as P), it is seen as a bullish signal. If it is below, it is bearish.
Support and resistance levels are a core part of technical analysis, providing crucial insight into possible future price reversals.

AMC Entertainment details
AMC Entertainment (NYSE:AMC) owns and operates a range of cinemas, with most of its operations located across the US and Europe. As of March 2022, it operated 950 theatres worldwide, which include the supply of food and beverage products to consumers.
AMC had been struggling to finance operations following the pandemic. But in 2021 it captivated the attention of ‘meme stock traders’ on forums like ReddIt's WallStreetBets. It remains a favourite with retail traders, but its shares have fallen from its 2021 highs due to concerns over the company’s ability to attract movie-goers in the age of streaming services.
