Overseas-Chinese Banking details
Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp (SGX:O39), often known as OCBC, is a Singapore-based financial and banking services firm. Its services include corporate, enterprise and personal lending, international trade financing, investment banking, private banking, stockbroking, and cash and asset management.
OCBC was originally a pure corporate and commercial banking company but has been actively expanding its business through mergers and acquisitions. Most notably, through the acquisition of ING Asia Private Bank in 2010 and Hong Kong’s Wing Hang Bank in 2014.
OCBC trades on the Singapore Stock Exchange, and is a constituent of the Strait Times Index (Singapore Index).
