Hong Kong 50 Hong Kong 50

The Hong Kong 50 is our market on the Hang Seng China 50 index, a stock index that tracks the performance of the top 50 shares across three stock exchanges: the Hong Kong stock exchange (HKEX), Shanghai stock exchange and Shenzhen stock exchange.

The Hang Seng China 50 has a broader pan-China exposure than its cousin the Hang Seng index, which only covers stocks listed on the HKEX. It is capitalisation-weighted, so companies with a higher overall value will impact its price more than those with lower market caps.

Key constituents on the index include Tencent, Alibaba and HSBC.
