The France 40 is FOREX.com’s market on the CAC 40, a stock index which represents the performance of the 40 largest and most significant companies publicly traded on the Paris Stock Exchange, owned by the pan-European stock market Euronext. CAC stands for the Cotation Assistée en Continu.

The forty companies listed on the France 40 are chosen from among the 100 largest companies on the Paris Stock Exchange by an independent committee. They are selected for their status as influential representations of their industries. Companies listed on the France 40 include LVMH, Airbus, Hermes Intl, Michelin, and L’Oreal.
