USD/CHF market insights
Pivot points are a technical indicator that traders use to predict upcoming areas of technical significance, such as support and resistance. They're calculated by averaging the high, low and closing prices of a previous period. That could be a day, a week or a month.
If a market is trading above its previous pivot point (known as P), it is seen as a bullish signal. If it is below, it is bearish.
Support and resistance levels are a core part of technical analysis, providing crucial insight into possible future price reversals.

USD/CHF overview
USD/CHF is a forex pair made up of the US dollar and Swiss franc. It is also known as the “Swissie.”
The pair tends to have a negative correlation with both EUR/USD and GBP/USD. This occurs because the Swiss franc is positively correlated with both the euro and the pound, but unlike these pairs, USD is the quote currency. This means the correlating exchange rates are reversed from USD/CHF to EUR/USD and GBP/USD.
The pair is most affected by economic data from both the United States and Switzerland, along with policy decisions made by the Federal Reserve and the Swiss National Bank.
