CBOE UK 250 market insights
Pivot points are a technical indicator that traders use to predict upcoming areas of technical significance, such as support and resistance. They're calculated by averaging the high, low and closing prices of a previous period. That could be a day, a week or a month.
If a market is trading above its previous pivot point (known as P), it is seen as a bullish signal. If it is below, it is bearish.
Support and resistance levels are a core part of technical analysis, providing crucial insight into possible future price reversals.

CBOE UK 250 details
The CBOE UK 250 is FOREX.com’s market equivalent of the FTSE 250, a UK stock index. The FTSE 250 tracks the prices of the 101-250 most valuable companies listed on the London Stock Exchange, giving it smaller-cap coverage than the FTSE 100.
While the FTSE 100 is globally focused, the FTSE 250 has a much more domestic outlook – which some analysts believe creates a better reflection of the UK economy. Together, the two indices make up the FTSE 350.
The FTSE 250 is calculated on a free-float market capitalisation basis.
