The latest trading sessions have been particularly relevant when looking at the strength of demand surrounding Bitcoin. This can be seen in recent price action, as BTC has gained more than 13% over the last five trading sessions, bringing a meaningful bullish bias back into focus in the short term.
The week continues to present challenges for the euro's short-term strength. This is reflected in the recent performance of EUR/USD, which has declined by nearly 0.6% over the last three trading sessions
The trading week is getting underway with renewed bullish momentum across Nasdaq. This is reflected in today's session, where the index has gained more than 2.5%, highlighting a buying bias that has not been observed with this level of strength in several weeks.
A new trading week is underway, and the Canadian dollar continues to show signs of weakening momentum. This can be seen in recent USD/CAD price action, with the pair gaining nearly 0.7% over the last four trading sessions.
September continues to advance and, with it, important changes have started to emerge across the cryptocurrency market in the short term. Although indecision and neutrality played an important role at the beginning of the week, the market managed to close with a renewed and accelerating bullish bias that pushed several cryptocurrencies above key resistance levels.
As September progresses, the cryptocurrency market has started to show signs of neutrality and even some weakness, largely because investors spent much of the week digesting an increasingly restrictive central bank environment. However, that dynamic began to fade into the background after several important regulatory developments gained traction and helped partially detach the market from the immediate influence of central banks.
The Japanese yen continues to face challenging conditions in the short term. By the end of the week, USD/JPY had gained nearly 2.00% over the previous five trading sessions, highlighting ongoing weakness in the yen and showing that the U.S. dollar continues to gain ground.
Although the Mexican peso is attempting to regain some ground during today's session, price action throughout the week shows a gain of more than 1.00% in USD/MXN, highlighting buying momentum that continues to favor the U.S. dollar.
Gold continues to face challenging conditions in the short term, with the precious metal already recording three consecutive losing sessions and posting a decline of nearly 2.3%. This price action continues to highlight a bearish bias that has become increasingly relevant within the market.
